The MBA journey came to a climactic ending a few weeks ago, with my classmates voting me MVP of the class. It is an honor that I cherish. We all sacrificed so much to better ourselves and ultimately our families.
One thing I learned along the MBA trail was just exactly what success and happiness means to me. Part of the definition includes time spent at Indiancreek. Curri must have sensed this so we loaded up the car and headed south last weekend. Josie and I met Mr. Hill, Carroll, and Brandon while the girls played by the pool.
Josie loves the place. We planted a few browntop fields and limbed a few trees. Nothing major but enough to put us in position for a dove hunting event this fall.
I stood on the deck saturday morning sipping coffee. Suddenly a gobbler sounded off from the head of the pond….Josie looked at me….yep… success and happiness.
Lots of new sights, sounds, and smells for Josie Girl.
Dad’s carpenter bee traps are helping!
Mr. Hill getting the hang of bushhogging!
Every time I go I see something new….or in this case old. This is an old culvert under the old county road.
Brandon, aka the “deerslayer” always shows up…and always does the hard part!
You can move pretty much anything with a front end loader.
